We are asking 100 founding supporters to put £2,500 behind STEP Foundation, so we launch at full scale instead of starting small and hoping. If £2,500 is out of reach, give a part share, every penny goes into the same launch.
Five things this capital pays for. None of them are glamorous. All of them are the difference between a charity that lasts and one that does not.
Your support funds our core team. the people who build real relationships with partners, oversee projects, and keep our work running between fundraising cycles. Not chasing grants. Focused on impact.
Communities and local NGOs need to trust us. When we commit to backing education or livelihoods projects in Bangladesh, or youth work in the UK, they need to know we're here for the long term. This capital means we keep those commitments.
Accounting, insurance, governance, compliance. The details that actually matters. We operate transparently and professionally. so you know your money works.
We track what works. Software, monitoring systems, reporting tools. they cost money. But they ensure our water projects stay clean, our housing stays safe, our partners' work actually transforms lives.
Change happens on the ground. Research, partner selection, due diligence, community visits. We need funds to show up consistently. not just once, then disappear.
A full share is £2,500. Part shares are welcome, pick what you can commit to.
Part shares are pooled, four quarter shares make one of the hundred, and the person who gives £100 is as much a founder as anyone.
Nothing is charged here. Leave your details and we'll contact you to arrange the contribution, answer questions, and confirm Gift Aid if it applies.
Anything else, email info@step-foundation.org.uk.
A single, one-off contribution. You can split it over twelve months if that helps, but there is no recurring commitment and no renewal.
Give a part share, £1,250, £625, £250, £100, or any amount you choose. Part shares are pooled toward the same £250,000, and you are as much a founding supporter as anyone giving the full amount.
Into the five areas set out above: the core team, partnerships, governance and compliance, monitoring, and travel to the places we work. It is launch capital, not a single project fund, that is the point of it.
If you're a UK taxpayer, yes, Gift Aid adds 25p to every £1 at no cost to you. Tick the box on the form and we'll handle the paperwork.
We launch with what we raise and scale to match it. Nothing is returned and nothing is wasted, a smaller start simply means a slower one, which is exactly what we're trying to avoid.
