Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed for a site to work; others are used to track visitors or show adverts.

2. Our approach

We keep cookies to a minimum. Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not set any cookies when you simply browse it. That's why you won't see a cookie banner.

3. Cookies you may come across

WhereWho sets themWhy
Videos on our pagesYouTube (Google)We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so no YouTube cookies are stored unless you press play. If you do, YouTube may store cookies under its own policy.
Card payment pageStripeWhen you choose to pay, you go to Stripe's secure payment page, which uses cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud.
Staff sign-in areaSTEP FoundationEssential cookies that keep authorised staff signed in. These are only set for staff and never for visitors.

For more about these providers, see Google's cookie policy and Stripe's cookie policy.

4. Cookies we don't use

  • Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics)
  • Advertising or marketing cookies
  • Cookies that share your browsing with advertisers

If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

5. Managing cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't affect how our website works, though Stripe's payment page needs its own cookies to take a payment.
